How to Remove the Interior Trim of a Mercedes C-Class W205 Hatchback

Let's see how to remove the interior trim of the hatchback of the Mercedes C-Class W205: Open the hatch, remove any rubber covers (if there are screws underneath), and take out the Torx screws (usually T20 or T25) around the handle area, under the lock cover, and in the license plate compartment. Then, insert a plastic trim tool between the trim and the metal (starting from the lower or side edge) and gently pry, releasing the clips one by one (you will hear the "clicks"). Next, disconnect the electrical connectors: rear camera, license plate lights, hands-free sensor, electric lock release. Don't forget the defroster wires that pass through the panel. Once all clips and wires are detached, remove the trim.
