Easy Instrument Cluster Removal Method

Model: Mercedes Classe C W202 - Years 1993-2000

In this video, we illustrate a simpler way to remove the instrument cluster of the Mercedes C-Class W202. Using a flat screwdriver, push and simultaneously lift the tab of the tweeter grille visible in the upper left corner of the air vent. Once the tweeter is removed, unscrew the two screws (already removed in the video) and simultaneously lift the two tabs at the bottom of the grille to detach it and pull it away. Now that we have the necessary space, locate the locking metal tab on the side of the instrument cluster and press it. Now the cluster is unlatched on one side, and with a bit of care, it will unclip from the other side without issues.
