How to Remove the Front Cabin Dome Light

This video shows you how to remove the dome light from a Mercedes-Benz W202. First, use a plastic trim tool to remove the two lenses; this will expose the two retaining screws of the dome light; unscrew the two screws. For easier extraction, disconnect the clip that holds the rearview mirror and, using the plastic trim tool, pull the dome light out of the housing. The video also demonstrates how to correctly position the cam of the new accumulator motor. First, insert the star wheel into the small hub. Mentally trace a circle that will serve as a reference point for inserting the cam timing. At this point, gently tighten the hex bolt of the hub.
