How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes A-Class W168

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Mercedes A-Class W168: turn on the instrument cluster and immediately press the trip odometer button twice (within 1 second). Turn off the ignition (key in position 0) and hold the trip odometer button. While holding it, turn the key again to power on the cluster. Continue holding the button: after 10 seconds, the "service" message will appear with the remaining km and time, and you will hear a beep. Release the button. Now you will see the new service interval set (e.g., 15,000 km or 365 days). Turn off and turn on again to verify that the light is gone.
