How do you replace the power battery of a Mercedes CLA? Open the car door and pull up the hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard; lift the hood (releasing the latch with your fingers), then secure it. Once the engine bay is open: you will find the battery on the right; remove the battery terminal clamp bolts with a socket wrench, then take the battery out of the engine bay and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Close the hood after installing the new battery. Test the battery.
