How to Replace the Battery in a Mercedes CLA

To replace the battery in a Mercedes CLA, lift the hood to access the engine compartment. The battery is located directly under the windshield, on the driver’s side of the engine bay. You will need to remove the plastic cover that conceals the battery and loosen the bolts securing it in place. Next, disconnect the positive and negative terminals to remove the battery from its housing. At this point, you can insert a new battery, which should be connected and secured.
