Resetting the service light on the Mercedes Citan is a very simple operation within everyone's reach: turn on the ignition and find a button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, near the speedometer. This is the button usually used to reset the trip meter or to scroll through the menus.

Press and hold this button until the display shows "service in x miles" (or a similar maintenance message). At this point, you can release the button.

Press and hold the same button again until the service message starts to flash. When the indicator stops flashing or disappears, the reset is complete.
