How to remove the central lock (right side) on a Mercedes E-Class? Before starting, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Use a Pry Tool to remove the cover near the handle; unscrew the screws with a screwdriver if present. Detach the plastic at the corner of the window above the door panel; remove the retaining clips, disconnect the power connectors for the window regulator. Remove the panel and pry it off from the door. Remove the adhesive protective covering on the door sheet metal and unscrew the central lock along with all attached parts.
