Removing the Cooling Radiator from a Mercedes S-Class

Model: Mercedes CLS C219, MK 1 - Years 2004-2010

Open the bonnet, and using an appropriate socket spanner, remove the covering plastics and the plates that secure the radiator at the top. Raise the car on a column lift and loosen the clamp that secures the water hose. Undo the torsion bar that obstructs the extraction of the radiator. Once free from screws and pipes, you can extract the radiator from the engine bay. Prepare to install the new part in the engine bay: reattach the radiator's mounting brackets with the associated plates. Tighten the plastics and the front grille securely with a socket spanner. Finally, top up with the new coolant.
