How to install the AMG Panamericana grille on the Mercedes GLC

In this video, the original grille of the Mercedes GLC is replaced with the AMG Panamericana grille, transferring the logo with the radar unit from the old to the new grille. It is a precision job that requires patience. In the meantime, we have procured the new grille on E-Bay with the code 227123792733 for the price of 42.00 euros, with free shipping. Now let's remove the old grille, which is secured with two types of clips: pressure teeth and central slots; we work calmly to avoid breaking anything. The most delicate part is transferring the logo with the radar; we need to unlock the black rear plate, which is secured by 4 pressure clips and 3 rotating safety pins. We mount the logo on the new grille by inserting it from the front, reattach the support plate from the rear side, press in the center to re-engage the clips, and rotate about 20° to lock the safety pins. Now we mount the grille onto the bumper. First, we attach the central slots and then snap all the lateral pressure teeth into place. After installation, it is very likely that the driver assistance system will require recalibration because the radar is very sensitive to angling. This operation should be performed by a specialized workshop.
