Removing the Tunnel on a Mercedes M-Class

Are the plastics of the central tunnel due for replacement? Here’s how to remove the tunnel on a Mercedes M-Class. Pry off the covering located at the bottom of the central tunnel, then remove the leather gaiter and the gear knob. After removing the knob with the gaiter, unscrew the securing screw located in the glove compartment at the rear of the central tunnel using a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull out the glove compartment. Unscrew the last securing screws of the tunnel and remove it (disconnect any power cables if necessary). Install the new plastics for the central tunnel.
