How to change the engine oil on a Mercedes Glk? Let's look at the oil and filter change. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever, then lift the front bonnet. Raise the car on a jack and remove the plastic cover that protects the engine. Unscrew the oil sump plug; let the oil drain into a container. Unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Remove the worn oil filter and fit a new one of the same size. Top up with new oil in the engine of the Glk.
