Replacing Mirror Glass on Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W211 - Years 2002-2009
Part: Side mirror

Using a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic trim tool (not metal!), tilt the top part of the mirror glass, then detach the small metal clip. Continue to pry the glass with the flathead screwdriver until you can remove it by hand. Before fully extracting it, disconnect the two wiring connectors for the mirror heating. Treat these connections with the appropriate spray. At this point, connect the new glass you purchased. Finally, insert it back into the housing until all the clips snap into place. Good luck!
