Replacing Speedometer Lights on Mercedes E-Class

The instrument cluster on the Mercedes E-Class W210 is simply clipped into its designated slot, so no special procedures are needed to remove it. Just insert one or two small flathead screwdrivers (or two plastic levers) into the surrounding gaps and pry it out to release the cluster from its location. Once the cluster is removed, disconnect the two connectors: to do this, press the locking tab and pull the connector while twisting it. At this point, you are almost done: now that you have the speedometer completely disassembled, you can access the bulbs from the back.
