The instrument panel on Mercedes E-Class W210 is simply stuck inside the appropriate seat, so no special procedures are required to disassemble it. You simply have to insert one or two small flat-head screwdrivers (or two plastic levers) into the surrounding slots and pry the panel plate out of its location. Once the panel has been removed, disconnect the two connectors: to do this, press the fixing tab and pull the connector by turning it. At this point you are almost done: now that you have the speedometer completely disassembled you can access the bulbs from the back of it.
