Removing the Door Lock from a Mercedes CLK

In this video guide, we will see the main steps on how to remove the front door lock from a first-generation Mercedes CLK. First, open the door and remove the side seal, taking out the screws underneath. Then, using something sharp, remove the rectangular piece of the external lock, as shown in the video. Once the cylinder is extracted, you can remove the opening handle if desired and disconnect the lock cable to finally take it out and replace it with a new one.
