Removing the External Door Handle on a Mercedes CLK

Let’s look at removing the external handle of a Mercedes CLK. Open the door and locate the seal that needs to be removed to access the screws securing the handle. Remove the seal at the top of the door, then unscrew the screw located at the side of the door (as shown in the video). Detach the left or right cover of the handle, then slide the handle towards the area where the cover or cylinder is missing. Remove the damaged handle and fit the new piece: move the metal plate before installing the handle inside the door.
