How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Mercedes A-Class?

To replace the timing belt on a Mercedes A-Class, open the hood to access the engine compartment and remove the side cover, taking out any obstructing parts. Next, remove the inner wheel well cover to access the lower pulley. This pulley must be locked, and then loosen the nut that secures the central pin of the tensioner roller. This will allow you to slide the belt out of its housing and replace it with a new part. After installation, reinstall all previously removed parts.
