Operation: Check and top up engine oil on Mercedes B-Class

Open the hood and put on the special support rod. To check the engine oil level, pull the dipstick with the red ring cap. Dry the dipstick with absorbent paper, put it back in place and remove it again: check the cleat at the bottom of the dipstick and see where the oil level reaches: if it reaches the middle of the measuring cleat, the level is correct , if it is lower, you must top up but without exceeding this level. To top up, unscrew the cap on your left (facing the passenger compartment) and top up with a few centiliters of 5W-40 synthetic oil, then check again using the dipstick.
