If you're thinking that the time has come to replace the battery in your Mercedes A-Class, in this video you'll find all the instructions in a few simple steps that will allow you to do the operation on your own. The first step is to turn off the ignition of the car to avoid current leaks. The battery compartment is located under the passenger footpeg carpet, so grab your screwdrivers and position yourself. You will see the bay cover handle sticking out of the carpet, rotate it and remove the cover to get to the battery. Now, as with all batteries, as a second step you will have to remove the plates that screw onto the poles, first negative then positive. Now remove the spacer that separates the battery from the fuse box and extract the battery. To finish the operation, replace the new battery, screw it back to the plates and replace the compartment cover.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?
