How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on the Mercedes A-Class W168

On the Mercedes A-Class W168, start with the front wheel: the video shows the car lifted and the wheel removed, allowing full access to the brake caliper and rotor. At this point, work on the caliper by freeing the visible mounting points and creating the space needed to remove the old pads. Once the caliper is positioned for work, on the Mercedes A-Class W168, slide the pads out of their seat and compare them with the new ones. Before reassembling, manage the piston: push it back with a tool to create space for the new pads without forcing. Do this slowly, ensuring everything aligns correctly. Now, on the Mercedes A-Class W168, insert the new pads in the same position as the old ones, then close the caliper and reattach the fasteners that were removed at the beginning. At this point, on the Mercedes A-Class W168, position the pads in the bracket, lowering them into their seats until they rest correctly. Once the brake area is finished, close everything up and put the wheel back on. Before moving the car, press the brake pedal several times to ensure the caliper returns to position and the pedal regains firmness.
