How do you replace the rear brake pads of the Mercedes A-Class?

In order to replace the rear brake pads of the Mercedes A-Class, you need to lift the car so that the corresponding rear wheel can be removed from its housing. Once this has been detached, you can locate the corresponding brake caliper and unscrew the screws that hold it to the disc. This will allow you to detach the caliper and remove the pin that holds the pads inside: the new ones can now be positioned and the caliper must be reinstalled on the disc. By also mounting the wheel, you can check that everything is working correctly.
