Start by fully opening the hood, then using a flathead screwdriver, detach the upper hinge of both support struts. While holding the hood up, next, remove the three bolts on each side that secure the hinges with a 10mm socket wrench. At this point, you can lift it off the supports and install the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
