In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in a Mercedes A-Class, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that the key is not in the ignition for safety.

Start by opening the hood, then remove the battery cover, disconnect the ventilation hose, and take off both side panels. Next, disconnect both terminals, starting with the negative one, remove the bolt for the hold-down strap, and pull the battery out of the housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
