Removing the rear seat bench of a Mercedes E-Class W212 is simple: pulling the seat cushion is easy, just slide it out. To remove the backrest, go to the trunk, where you will see 3 screws fixed to the upholstery. Unscrew them, and once the cover is removed, you will see some metal clips. Using a sturdy screwdriver, pop these clips that release the cushions, allowing you to completely remove the rear seat bench for any repairs you want to make. Follow the same procedure for reinstallation, where the clips must be rotated in the opposite direction.
