How to Replace the Battery in a Mercedes E-Class W213

To replace the battery in a Mercedes E-Class W213, open the hood using the lever in the passenger compartment. Remove the plastic cover over the battery by disengaging the plastic clips. Take out the air filter by releasing the tabs on the side. Unscrew the nuts from the battery terminals and disconnect them from the battery. Unscrew the bolt at the bottom that holds the battery in place and remove the battery. After removing the old battery (the video also tests the battery charge with a tester), install the new one and reassemble everything by reversing the disassembly procedure.
