How to Reset the Service Light on the Mercedes E-Class W211

To reset the service light on the Mercedes E-Class W211, start by turning the key clockwise to the second position and note the message on the service display. To reset it, turn the key counterclockwise to the first position, press the button on the lower left of the left steering wheel spoke to go to the speedometer screen, press the button on the left of the dashboard 3 times until the text "ub." (hidden menu) appears, press the up arrow to go to the "service menu" screen, press the "-" button on the right steering wheel spoke until the text "confirmation" appears, press the button on the lower left of the left steering wheel spoke, press it again on the first text to confirm, and the display will show "service required".
