In this video, see what to do if the air conditioner in your Mercedes C-Class isn't working as it should. The problem is often caused by low refrigerant levels, or the sensor responsible for detecting this may be faulty. This generates an error code, but the air continues to work, possibly indicating the issue with a red light on the button. Using an OBD11 reader, you can read the error codes, but first, check that the vents are functioning and not clogged. In this case, the OBD reader indicated that the refrigerant was low, it was recharged, and now we will clear the error from the control unit. Turn off the vehicle for 10 seconds, then follow the scanner's instructions, which will perform another scan, but now the air conditioning is working perfectly.
