Mercedes Classe C - Video tutorial

Model: Mercedes Classe C W204 - Years 2007-2013
Part: Air conditioning
Operation: What to do if the air conditioner of the Mercedes C-Class is not working

In this video, we see what to do if the air conditioner in our Mercedes C-Class is not working properly. The problem is often caused by a low refrigerant level or a faulty sensor responsible for detecting this. This generates an error code, but the air continues to work, perhaps indicating the anomaly with a red light on the button. With an OBD11 reader, we can read the error codes, but first, let's check that the vents are working and not blocked. In this case, the OBD reader told us that the refrigerant was low, it was recharged, and now we proceed to clear the error from the control unit, turn off the vehicle for 10 seconds, then follow the scanner's instructions, which will perform another scan, but now the air conditioning is working perfectly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
