How to Reset the Service Light on the Mercedes ML W164

Model: Mercedes Classe M W164 - Years 2005-2011

In this video, you will see how to reset the maintenance light on the Mercedes ML W164. The procedure is very simple and quick to perform. First, start the instrument cluster and then switch it off. Next, press the R button located at the top centre of the cluster three times. This will open the menu. Using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, scroll through the menu until you find the maintenance section. Once you locate the maintenance section, use the - button on the right side of the steering wheel to navigate to the confirm option. Press the button on the left side of the steering wheel as indicated in the video to confirm, and confirm again to reset it. At this point, restart the cluster to verify that the procedure has been completed correctly and that the maintenance light is no longer present on the instrument cluster.
