In this video, you can see how to reset the service light on a Mercedes M-Class W164. Ensure that the bonnet, boot, and doors are closed, then turn on the ignition. Press the "R" button until the temperature value appears, then press the button until you reach the service menu.

Using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, press the "-" button and select "confirm". From the left-side button panel, use the menu button to navigate to "full service", confirm, turn off the ignition, and the reset is complete. You can turn the ignition back on to check that the light has turned off.
