In this video we can see how to reset the service light of a Mercedes Class M W164: make sure that the hood, trunk, and doors are properly closed, turn on the ignition: press the "R" button until the temperature value appears, then press the "in" button until you reach the service; using the control panel located on the right side of the steering wheel, go to the "-" button and select "confirm". From the control panel on the left, use the menu button to go to "full service", confirm, turn off the ignition and the reset is now complete. You can turn on the ignition again to check that the light has turned off.
