The disassembly of the driver's side airbag, that is the one applied right on the steering wheel, is quite simple to perform since it is fixed to the steering wheel spokes through two torx-type screws. Before proceeding with the disassembly, it is advisable to disconnect the battery to prevent any warning light from turning on, after which, intercept the holes present just behind the steering wheel spokes and insert a 25 torx wrench inside to unscrew the screws. securing the airbag, move it far enough away from the steering wheel and then disconnect the detonator socket, taking care not to damage it.
