How to Change the Key Battery on Mercedes Benz ML

To easily replace the batteries in your Mercedes Benz ML key at home, follow the instructions in this short video. Unlike other Mercedes keys, you do not need to extract the metal key to remove the side covers and open it in two. Use a small flat screwdriver to pry in the gap between the top of the key fob and the black plastic part. Gently prying will extract the internal electronic body where the batteries are housed. Now you can replace the old batteries with two new CR2025 batteries.
