It is quite common for headlight covers to become cloudy due to sun exposure and the aging of the material, as traditional glass has now been replaced by polycarbonate. However, this material allows for a restoration that can make it shine like new. Start by masking the area around the headlight with masking tape. Then, wet sand the headlight with very fine sandpaper until it becomes uniformly cloudy. Proceed to polish with abrasive paste, repeating the steps until the headlight shines again.
