Resetting the Service Light on the Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W169 - Years 2004-2012

After replacing the engine oil in the Mercedes A-Class, you need to reset the system that alerts you to the need for this operation. Sit in the driver's seat and turn on the ignition. Press the button located to the left of the speedometer three times until the display in the center shows "ub". Using the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, select "service data" and confirm using the "+" and "-" buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Confirm "confirmation" with the menu button next to the arrow buttons, and on the next screen, confirm "full service" also with the menu button. A confirmation message will appear on the display indicating that the reset has been completed.
