It's common for heat to cause the headliner fabric to detach from the roof of the vehicle. You can restore this covering, but you need to remove and extract the headliner from inside the cabin. Removing the headliner requires careful attention since many trim elements must be removed to release it. Start by removing the interior light fixtures, then proceed to the trim on the windshield pillars, the doors, and the rear pillars, also removing the handles. Once the headliner is free, rotate it to extract it through the rear door, being careful not to deform or break it during this process.
