How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes S-Class?

Model: Mercedes Classe S MK 4, W220 - Years 1999-2005

You can reset the Service light on a Mercedes S-Class by turning the key in the ignition switch to power on the instrument cluster, noting that the maintenance light will be on. After the cluster is powered on, press and hold the 0 button located on the left side of the instrument cluster. While holding it, a message will appear asking if you really want to reset the maintenance interval: release the button and press it again for a few seconds. This will make the Service light disappear, and you can turn off the cluster by turning the key.
