Today, this video tutorial will explain how to replace the rear shock absorbers and springs on a Mercedes 190. This type of car is considered a classic, so the cost of repairs and spare parts may be higher than for a regular vehicle. Therefore, we want to show you how to carry out this operation independently. The first step is to open the boot of the vehicle and remove the lower cover and the one surrounding the boot itself. Once this is done, clean and then unscrew the bolt located on the wheel. Next, lift the car and remove the rear wheel. The second step is to clean the lower shock absorber mounting point to remove it. Once the shock absorber is removed, position and install the new one. Remove the spring and install the support, then clean and install the new spring. Refit the previously removed wheel and lower the car from the lift.
