How do you replace the timing chain of the Mercedes C-Class?

The timing chain that is installed on the Mercedes C-Class can be replaced by opening the hood and then removing the upper cover of the engine block, along with all the bulky components located in its front part. In this way, it will be easier to access the gear wheels and the timing chain, which can be removed after the tensioner has been loosened. Once the old chain has been removed, a new one can be installed, bringing it back to tension by installing the tensioner; after installation, all the other components can also be mounted.
