The procedure to perform to replace the battery of the remote control of the MG Astor car key is simple. We take the remote control of our car and press the button on the side edge in order to remove the metal key cover and then be able to extract it. At this point, once the key has been extracted, with the help of a flat-tip screwdriver, pry the edge of the body into the recess where the key resides and thus open the remote control. We then proceed to extract the exhausted battery and replace it with the new one. The model required is a 3V CR 2032 flat type battery.
