To replace the battery in this model of vehicle, the following description provides the details and steps to perform a safe replacement. Once you open the hood, the battery is located on the left side.

First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal, and remove the mounting plate at the base. Pull the battery out of the engine compartment and replace it with the new one. Then, connect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal, and finally reattach the lower mounting plate.
