How to replace the battery of the MG EHS plug-in remote control.

Let's see how to change the battery of an MG EHS plug-in key: on the left side, there is a small button that, when pressed, allows us to open the chrome part that gives us access to the compartment. Now we can remove the physical emergency key, then gently apply pressure on the two sides to open the remote control in two parts. On one side, there are the printed circuits, and on the other side, there is the button battery. We can use a metallic object, even the key if desired, to pry it out. The battery is a common CR2032 that we can easily find anywhere for a few euros. We insert it with the positive side facing downwards, then we put the chrome part back in place and snap the cover of the remote control. We open the key ring again, reinsert the emergency key in its place, and the operation is complete.
