If the battery in your remote key is dead, you need to replace it. Below, we have summarised the main steps and operations to carry out for the replacement. First, take a sharp object to pry open the joint between the key and the cover.

Then, remove the cover and take out the internal circuit board; underneath, you will find the battery compartment that you can remove and replace with a new one. Reinsert the circuit board and close the cover, and the job is complete.

Where are the fuses located on the Renault Laguna?
