How to Replace the Key Battery of an MG

Before you can start, press the button located on the back of the key fob for your MG to open the physical key. Begin by prising off and removing the front section of the key using a flathead screwdriver. Once done, you will have access to the flat battery. At this point, extract the battery from the key, and the disassembly will be complete. To fit the new battery and close the key of your MG, repeat this procedure in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
