The fuse box in the Mini Cooper R56 is simply the container for all the fuses used within the vehicle. There are actually two boxes; one is located under the glove compartment in the dashboard, while the second is in the engine bay on the right side.

The purpose of the fuses is to protect the electrical components from overloads, and knowing exactly where each fuse is located is possible thanks to the fuse diagram, which is available for each box and indicates the exact installation position and its function.
