Today, follow these step-by-step instructions to remove and replace the alternator on a Mini Cooper. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and disconnect both battery terminals; then, unscrew the screws securing the front bumper to remove it, as shown in the video.

Next, unscrew the horn screws and disconnect its electrical connector; you will find the alternator at the back, where you will disconnect its belt and wiring, then unscrew the screws to remove it. Replace the alternator with the new one and reassemble everything!
