- Years 2014-2023
In today's article, we will explain how to replace the gear knob of the Mini Cooper F56. This procedure is useful for replacing a worn gear knob. The only tool needed for this operation is a flathead screwdriver. To replace the gear knob, first use the screwdriver to lever on the lower side of the lever as shown in the video below, apply pressure to lift it up. Once lifted, pay attention as there is a connector that needs to be disconnected. After disconnecting the connector, lift the cover of the gear lever to reach under the knob. Then, grab the gear knob and lift it forcefully to remove it. Now, remove the fixing pin of the knob from the cover in order to replace it. Then, secure the new knob with the appropriate pin, insert the knob, reattach the cover correctly, reconnect the connector, and then reinsert the block by applying pressure with your hands.

How to Remove the Dome Light in a Mercedes C-Class
In this video, see how to replace the bulb or LED in the dome light of a Mercedes C-Class. Using a screwdriver or plastic trim tool, pry between the dome light cover and its perimeter (without breaking the plastic), remove the grille from the dome light, and then take out the clear plastic cover. Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Reinstall the plastic cover in its housing (press it in with your hands until the tabs are fully secured). Test the light's proper functioning before reinstalling the piece. by ScegliAuto More videos
