How do you activate the Start & Stop system in a 301 HP Mini Cooper GP?

Model: Mini Mini F55, F54, F57, F56 - Years 2014-2023
Part: Brake system

So the Start & Stop system activates automatically when the engine is warm, the battery is charged, and the climate does not require too much energy. It works like this, listen carefully. You stop at the traffic light, put it in neutral, if you have a manual, or hold down the brake, if you have an automatic, and the engine turns off by itself to save fuel. As soon as you touch the clutch or release the brake, the engine restarts instantly. If you don't like it, you can deactivate it with the dedicated button near the gearshift. But be careful because every time you restart the car, it becomes active by default, so if you want it off, you have to deactivate it every time.
