How do you replace the resistor and fan on a Mini? Follow this video for disassembly: use a lever to remove the plastic cover under the front dashboard, then unscrew the cover (where the resistor is located) with a screwdriver. Disconnect the large connector from the resistor, then remove it from the cabin. Insert a new fan resistor (connect the power connector). Finally, reassemble the cover and tighten the screws. Check the correct installation of the previously mounted parts and test their proper functioning.
