To replace the cooling fan resistor on the Mini, you need to remove the fan from inside the engine bay to make the job easier. You will need to pry off the plastic cover that surrounds the resistor and disconnect it from the corresponding connector. Once the old resistor has been removed, you can replace it with a new spare part. After connecting the new resistor, check the correct operation of the fan and reinstall it in its designated housing.
