How to Remove the Thermostat on a Mini

Do you want to remove the thermostat from your car yourself? Follow these steps to remove the thermostat on a Mini: remove the soundproofing panel from the engine bay, then unscrew the pins on the thermostat hose cap as shown in the video (use a socket wrench with the appropriate sockets). Remove the coolant reservoir and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing (after freeing all the pins). Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one. Tighten the pins properly and ensure that the thermostat is correctly inserted and mounted in the appropriate housing.
