When the key of your Mini Cooper F55 stops working, you are not necessarily obligated to buy a new one. In fact, in most cases the problem is caused by the completely drained battery, so it is sufficient to replace it with a new one. Below we will explain how to perform this operation.

First of all, pull up the top of the remote control to remove the emergency key, then use a flat screwdriver to remove the back cover and then remove the battery cover.

Once you have done this, replace the drained battery with a new one (CR2032 model).
